CSP Named a Champion of Maryland Manufacturing for International Business
The Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI) named Chesapeake Specialty Products a Champion of Maryland Manufacturing in the International Business category. CSP was one of 39 Champions selected from 280 nominations statewide.
RMI cited the company’s export strategy: working with the U.S. Commercial Service to promote sales in South Korea, Turkey, Vietnam and Thailand, and using a U.S. Small Business Administration Export Maryland grant to open markets in Vietnam and Cambodia. RMI credited the resulting growth in Europe and Asia with diversifying CSP’s revenue and sustaining its Baltimore County workforce.
